English + UCLA Extension

One of the nation's largest and most comprehensive continuing higher education providers, UCLA Extension has served students in Southern California since 1917. Each year we offer 4,500 courses and programs, linking 65,000 adults of diverse backgrounds to enhanced career, academic, and personal growth opportunities through lifelong learning.

Designed to meet the needs of working adults, UCLA Extension courses are offered during the day, in the evening, and on weekends at convenient locations in Westwood, Downtown Los Angeles, Universal City, and dozens of other places throughout the Southland. A pioneer in distance learning, UCLA Extension also offers hundreds of courses online.

UCLA Extension's diverse range of courses and programs offer certificates, transferable credits, continuing education credits, and expertise in a variety of fields. Financial aid or tax credits are available for qualified students.

Homestay: $5,160 / 12 weeks (Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall terms)
Dormitory:$4,510 / 12 weeks (Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall terms)

On the first day, we will take the students to UCLA Ext, give them an orientation, and help them purchase a bus pass.
